I’m Sonia McCourt, a graphic designer and founder of Sonia McCourt Design, a creative design studio established in 2011. I specialise in branding, graphic design, marketing, advertising, web design, signage, and print management, helping businesses communicate clearly and confidently through thoughtful, strategic design.

With over 20 years of experience in the design industry, I’ve worked with a wide range of clients — from small startups and independent entrepreneurs to established companies and creative agencies. This variety has shaped my approach and strengthened my belief in the power of visual storytelling to build strong, meaningful brands.

I studied graphic design at university before spending six years working with some of Northern Ireland’s top creative agencies. During this time, I gained invaluable experience across branding, print, digital design, and client collaboration. My husband and I then took a four-month world travel trip, which allowed me to absorb international inspiration and further develop my love of multicultural design.

On returning home, I set up Sonia McCourt Design with the aim of bringing a warm, human element to a design world increasingly dominated by digital noise. Travel continues to influence my work, and I love collaborating with clients and discovering unique, inspiring locations that help shape my creative process.

My approach to design is simple: listen, understand, and create with purpose. Every brand identity, logo design, website, or marketing piece I create is rooted in strategy — designed not only to look beautiful but to connect with audiences, inspire trust, and deliver results.
